about us

We are a Palo Alto based VC fund that invests in socially disruptive ventures

The future is one of change and progress. Innovation is always controversial. We fully support job-replacing and politically inconvenient technologies.

Borders hold people back. When it comes to innovation, we do not believe in boundaries, whether they are cultural, legal, or ethical. Dumbarton Capital stands for a world of limitless and borderless potential.

Our Location

Dumbarton Bridge and Wetland Restoration Effort

The Dumbarton Bridge is the least appreciated of the four bridges connecting the Eastern and Western halves of the Bay Area. It is a dynamic symbol of connectivity, utility, and commerce. Its powerful status as a lesser-known historical landmark means that it will always have an important place in our hearts.

At Dumbarton Capital, we seek to preserve the embattled ecosystem surrounding the Dumbarton Bridge. More than 90% of the Bay Area’s salt marshes have been developed, and numerous local Californian species of wildlife are threatened by habitat loss and invasive species.
